Lisa Perry Lewis is the founder of Life Perspectives Counseling Services, LLC. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey with more than 35 years in the field of social work and a broad spectrum of experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work.

Mrs. Perry Lewis started her career working in the psychiatric emergency services of Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. This unique experience grounded her in the field of social work and provided her a clear understanding of mental illness, substance abuse, and trauma. Her keen insight also makes her aware of the effect these issues have on family members.

She has worked extensively with children and families in the realm of Infectious Disease specifically HIV/AIDS. While working at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, she  provided hospital case management, community education and psychosocial support to children and families.

​

Additionally, Mrs. Perry Lewis has a wealth of experience and a great affinity for working with adolescents and their families. For over two decades she  has worked with them as clinician and director through the School Based Youth Services Programs in two different settings.
